Education

+ + Graduation from High school with some advanced technical training.
Skills and pro?ciency in oral and written grammar, communication, and basic mathematics. Ability to perform support activities in patient care as required through completion of an approved Vo-Tech program or certi?ed as a Nurse Aide through the O?ce of Long-Term Care.
Experience
+
+ + Requires on-the-job training to become familiar with department procedures. Prefer health related field experience and/or allied health sciences with demonstrated knowledge in medical terminology, alphanumeric filing, knowledge of computers, copiers, and fax machines. Good communication skills. Experience with EMR preferred.
+ CNA certification in Arkansas

+ + This position requires being seated at a computer monitor almost 95% of the time. A small amount of physical work which may include lifting a maximum of 10 pounds. Normal hospital environment. Close eye work and hearing within normal range. Oral communication. Operates computer and standard office equipment, and scanners. Occasional walking, bending, and climbing.
+ The applicant must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, pull up to 150 pounds, carry up to 50 pounds and push up to 150 pounds regularly. Must be able to stand, walk or sit for signi?cant periods of time. Must be prepared to climb, stoop, kneel or bend frequently
JOB SUMMARY
Scheduler: Prepares, communicates and maintains schedules for sta? assigned to home care, Total Life Healthcare Clinic, schedules all outside appointments for participants and coordinates transportation. Under the direction of the Center Manager, performs basic duties to assist participants in maintaining an environment consistent with their needs. Assist participants getting ready to see the provider including undressing and redressing. Obtains complete set of vital signs, , EKGs, and bladder scans when ordered. Documents results per policy. Provides care in a manner which ensures participant satisfaction and retention. Assist participant in such activities as walking, transfers, use of mobility devices, and getting in and out of transportation vehicles. CNA’s may be required to work in the Center and/or in the participants’ home.
