About the Role
PDS Defense Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated **Manufacturing Analyst** **2** to join our organization. In this role, you will support data optimization by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information from multiple sources to drive informed decision-making across the site.
Position Responsibilities
+ Build and combine data sources to produce data extracts supporting analytics and research.
+ Add data-driven value by gathering, analyzing, and translating metrics into actionable insights for executive-level presentations.
+ Maintain and improve process efficiency using process methods, tools, standards, metric consultation, and data analysis.
+ Provide solutions and recommendations by interpreting and integrating internal and external data to develop metrics for reviews.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including staffing, strategic sourcing, and leadership—to support data-driven decision-making.
+ Develop strong working relationships across peers, managers, and leadership.
+ Dive into site analytics and metrics to understand objectives and processes.
+ Work independently with minimal oversight once trained.
+ Provide feedback on assessment results and identify opportunities for improvement and risk.
+ Model accountability and support organizational standards.
+ Coordinate workforce approvals, deviations, and changes.
+ Engage at appropriate organizational levels to support strategies and plans.
+ Drive collaboration across teams and leadership levels.
+ Foster a problem-solving and continuous‑improvement mindset.
+ Build trust with business partners, peers, and leadership.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
+ 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts, filters, linking worksheets).
+ 3+ years of experience analyzing data and making actionable recommendations.
+ Experience in a fast-paced environment requiring frequent communication with leadership and internal/external customers.
+ 3+ years of experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
+ 2+ years collaborating with senior and executive leadership.
+ Experience implementing strategies and plans with general direction.
+ Experience developing and implementing process improvements.
+ Proficiency with tools such as Excel, SQL, and statistical analysis software.
Physical Requirements
+ Frequent walking on flat surfaces.
+ Ability to climb stairs.
+ Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
+ Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor's degree and typically 3+ years of related experience, **OR**
+ Master's degree and typically 1+ years of related experience, **OR**
+ Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Training
+ Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment – OJT or formal classroom training.
