• Department Manager, Gas Project Management

    Required Education/Experience

    + Bachelor's Degree and 8 years full time related work experience.

    Preferred Education/Experience

    + Master's Degree and 6 years full time related work experience.

    Relevant Work Experience

    + Must have eight (8) years of experience in utility operations. Required

    + Minimum of six years of managing complex projects and programs. Required.

    + In depth knowledge of codes, standards and procedures related to the companys gas distribution system. Required

    + Experience working with complex projects and programs across the service territory. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management as well as with the customer, customer representatives, trade organizations and governmental agencies. Required

    + Extensive knowledge of Project Management process. Required

    + Experience in Microsoft Office applications. Required

    + Ability to exercise independent judgment and render sound business decisions. Required

    + Being well organized, detail oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments and able to meet deadlines. Required

    + Project Management Professional certification. Preferred

    Licenses and Certifications

    + Driver's License Required

    Additional Physical Demands

    + The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

    + Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.

    + Must be able to work in various field locations and support Gas Operations during emergencies.
