    As a **QA/QC** **Inspector** for our **GTPP** **Project in Orange, Texas** you will contribute to our team by:

    + Review prime contract and subcontract details for specifications and requirements.

    + Conduct quality activities aligned with project scope as per the contract terms and conditions.

    + Review the project specifications and identifies quality requirements.

    + Perform visual examination, witnesses, monitors and document as per project quality and inspection testing plans (ITPs)

    + Observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacements (IND).

    + Produces and/or collects quality turnover documentation.

    + Act as liaison with craft personnel to broaden technical knowledge.

    + Completes documentation of mock-ups (BLDG)

    + Works with field management to ensure the protection of finished work.

    + Constant Walking and Climbing throughout the day.

    + Knowledge of Structural Steel Connections along with Welding inspections

    + Other duties required.

    What you will bring to the role:

    + Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in quality control relative to heavy industrial construction.

    + basic knowledge of construction industry, understands specifications, methods and procedures.

    + Proficient knowledge of codes related to Industrial Construction.

    + basic construction inspection skills

    + strong attention to detail

    + excellent record keeping skills.

    + effective verbal and writing communication skills.

    + **Must have current AWS QC-1 CWI Certification**
