We are looking to add a **Charitable Programs & Operations Coordinator** to our growing team at NorthPoint Development! This role is responsible for coordinating and advancing the strategic, operational, and community-focused initiatives of the NorthPoint Foundation. This role is based on the corporate Marketing team and partners closely with the Foundation Board, Leadership Committee, and internal stakeholders to support mission alignment, donor engagement, outreach programs, and operational compliance. The position ensures effective execution of Foundation programs, transparent reporting, and meaningful community impact while upholding NorthPoint-s values and culture.

What You'll Do
Foundation Coordination & Leadership
+ Work with the Foundation Board and Leadership Committee to develop and articulate the mission, vision and goals
+ Develop and maintain a multi-year Foundation strategy aligned with NorthPoint-s business objectives and community impact goals
+ Coordinate strategic planning initiatives to identify areas of growth and improvement
+ Produce and distribute Foundation reporting to all stakeholders: board, broader NPD and donors
+ Serve as the primary operational liaison to the Board
Donor Relations & Management
+ Set metrics and goals as a part of the larger business plan
+ Create a donor communication plan and work with the Marketing Chair on execution
Operational Initiatives
+ Work with Operations Chair to execute on annual audits and taxes
Outreach Coordination
+ Review all grant requests and coordinate execution and communication of requests
+ Foster community relationships; focusing on growing new relationships and cultivating current relationships
+ Create reporting on outreach efforts
Program Management & Event Assistance
+ Coordinate all Outreach programs: Back-2-School program, Holiday Program, Go Feed and KCIA Kindness day and any additional as needed
+ Serve on event planning committee for KC events
Process & Culture Alignment
+ Partner with Marketing, Committee and Board leadership to streamline processes that improve efficiency, clarity, and alignment across external-facing initiatives
+ Model professionalism and collaboration, contributing positively to meetings, discussions, and team culture
Who You Are
+ Bachelor-s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management or related field
+ 5+ years- experience in non-profit leadership preferred
+ Event planning and coordination experience required
+ Ability to travel as need for events (25%)
+ Demonstrates professionalism, respect, and accountability in all interactions
+ Proactively supports cross-functional communication between departments
+ Contributes to a positive, solutions-oriented work environment
+ Consistently meets deadlines and manages multiple priorities effectively
+ Upholds and reflects NorthPoint-s values in all internal and external engagement
