**Job Summary:** Tektronix, a global leader in innovative, precise, and easy-to-use solutions in the field of test and measurement technology, is seeking a Global Head of Metrology to oversee all global accreditations and scope of accreditation capabilities. This role will represent Tektronix in governmental consultation groups of global accredited bodies and ILAC. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to execute the responsibilities of a Metrology Specialist for the Beaverton lab.
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Global Accreditation Oversight:** Manage and oversee all Tektronix global ISO/IEC 17025 accreditations and scope of accreditation capabilities, ensuring compliance with international standards, regulations, and respective Accrediting Body requirements.
+ **Governmental Consultation Representation:** Serve as Tektronix's representative in governmental consultation groups of global accredited bodies and ILAC, advocating for the company's interests and ensuring alignment with industry standards.
+ **Metrology Specialist Responsibilities:** Execute the roles and responsibilities of a Metrology Specialist, including:
+ Oversee our Global Authorized Service Providers (ASP) for Tektronix and assure their quality is at par with Tektronix Quality requirements and needs.
+ Ability to evaluate out-of-tolerance (OOT) investigations for measurement standards and coordinate with Regional Service Managers to ensure timely completion and adherence to OOT procedure.
+ Conduct root cause analysis, countermeasures, and closure of all internal and external audit nonconformities together with our quality team.
+ Oversee and ensure adherence to the Standards Due Calibration and Scheduling process, including timely entry of calibration interval changes into the Laboratory Information Management Systems(LIMS).
+ Oversee the Intermediate Check process, ensuring checks are completed per the required interval process.
+ Serve as the primary focal point for internal and external audits, including ESD compliance audits and pre-audit preparation in our Global labs together with our quality team.
+ Conduct 5s audits in labs and create and validate measurement uncertainty budgets.
+ Use our FBS tools to eliminate muda and to create efficiency across our global labs.
+ Collaborate with Service Center Managers (TSM) to prepare and create CMCs, review standards, example certificates, and Accrediting Body application and similar packages for scope renewal and expansion submissions.
+ Ensure final versions of global Service Center CMCs and Scope of Accreditations are posted to a central repository.
+ Escalate concerns or late actions to the Global Director of Service Engineering.
+ Track and monitor metrics such as OOT evaluations, on-site logs, on-site documents compliance, standards recall percentage, intermediate checks compliance, Inter-Laboratory Comparison (ILC) ship in/out, and audit schedules for our Global Tektronix service labs.
+ Support labs for internal and registrar audits, including QMS reviews and management reviews together with our Quality team, where QMS remains a main responsibility of our quality team.
+ Assist lab managers and supervisors with nonconformity source collection and capital equipment requests (CAR).
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in metrology, calibration, and quality management.
+ Strong knowledge of international accreditation standards and regulations.
+ Proven experience in governmental consultation and representation.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
+ Proficiency in using service management software and tools.

Bonus or Equity
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 104,300.00 - 193,700.00
Is this role subject to ITAR?
