Job Description
Insight Global is partnering with a leading medical device manufacturing organization to hire PPAP Technicians. These individuals will support the execution of Measurement System Analyses (MSAs) and complete Process Performance Index (Ppk) studies and First Article Inspections (FAIs) as part of a customer‑driven PPAP requirement. This role includes performing 100% dimensional inspections on incoming components tied to FDA findings and ensuring all parts meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, and internal quality standards.
PPAP Technicians will work hands‑on with components to perform precise measurements, document results, and verify conformance for PPAP submissions and validations. The position requires close collaboration with the receiving inspection team and quality leadership. Technicians will primarily use hand measurement tools, with opportunities to work with CMM equipment and other precision measurement systems depending on experience.
This role is ideal for someone detail‑oriented, quality‑focused, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment with clearly defined processes and a direct impact on product quality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional measurements on incoming components and document results accurately
- Execute MSAs, Ppk studies, and FAIs per defined criteria and PPAP requirements
- Support 100% inspection activities for FDA‑driven quality findings
- Follow established inspection plans to verify part conformance to drawings and specifications
- Utilize hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), with potential use of CMM equipment
- Work closely with receiving inspection and quality teams to ensure timely completion of PPAP deliverables

Skills and Requirements
- 1+ year of PPAP, inspection, or measurement experience
- Ability to perform and document quantitative measurements
- Experience conducting FAIs and working from inspection standards
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with physical, hands‑on work
- Ability to follow structured inspection criteria and meet tight deadlines - Familiarity with CMM equipment or automated measurement tools
- Experience in a regulated or manufacturing quality environment
