    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager for an Asset & Investment Management client. This is for a one year contract with likely extensions. It is required that this person work onsite in El Segundo, CA 3-4 days per week. This person will be joining the FinOps department. This Project Manager will lead an initiative to transform the monthly permissions reporting process between this asset manager and their clients. This report determines fees and relies on accurate asset values, making data consistency and governance critical. The PM will oversee the entire project lifecycle from understanding the current-state architecture to driving the solutioning and build phases. Other responsibilities include:

     

    • Manage the end‑to‑end project focused on fixing data mismatches in theses monthly permissions reports.

    • Work closely with discovery outputs (current‑state documentation, architecture diagrams) and translate them into actionable requirements and a future-state solution.

    • Coordinate across accounting, data, technology, operations, and investment teams.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ years of experience with Project Management

     

    Business Analytics skills

     

    Skilled in organizing requirements, defining future-state processes, and managing solution design and delivery.

     

    Ability to create and maintain project plans, timelines, and governance frameworks.

     

    Strong stakeholder management across technical teams, business teams, and external partners

     

    Ability to translate discovery insights into structured requirements.

     

    Skilled in documenting current-state vs. future-state workflows.

     

    Some knowledge and/or background within financial services or accounting. General understanding of asset management, fixed income, alternatives, derivatives, and other securities

     

    Understanding of data - simple workflows, understanding where data is coming from, etc
