Job Description

Our client is looking for someone who understands press brakes and laser cutting equipment that form sheet metal parts according to production requirements. Key duties include interpreting production orders and technical drawings, selecting appropriate programs and tooling. Additional responsibilities involve collaborating with team members to optimize production processes.

Skills and Requirements

Understands CNC press brakes and/or CAD/CAM interfaces.

Ability to perform basic math and geometry calculations.

Sheet metal fabrication training, trade school, or relevant certification (such as FMA PSMO).

Previous experience with JIT (just-in-time)

Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Good communication skills.
