    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Technician in Midland, Texas. This position provides support using software tools to support engineering projects and day-to-day Operations of the Well Life Cycle Management team. The job progression identifies responsibilities ranging from data management to more advanced tools and skills such as performance reporting and data analysis.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Job creation and data entry in Wellview to support day-to-day operations.

    • Data quality management in Wellview and work order system support.

    • Wellbore schematic creations via Microsoft excel.

    • Assist with performance reporting and analysis via Power-BI

    Skills and Requirements

    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, especially PowerBI (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint).

     

    Data Management and Entry – Wellview, Workorder system

     

    Advanced Spreadsheet creation with Complex formulas , Pivot Tables, Graph visualization capabilities

     

    Ability to perform data analysis using Wellview and/or Power-Bi

     

    Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.

     

    Previous Wells and/or Oil and Gas experience.
