    Job Description

    • Architect & deliver scalable solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), from conception through production.

    • Build data foundations: Design SQL schemas/structures; develop performant queries; model datasets for reliable Power BI reporting.

    • Integrate systems: Design and implement API integrations with Microsoft services (Azure, SharePoint, Dynamics 365) and third party apps.

    • Engineer applications: Contribute to/oversee full stack development for internal apps and web pages; ensure reliability, efficiency, and maintainability.

    • Lead technical practices: Run/participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, maintain architecture and development documentation.

    • Drive delivery: Operate within Agile teams; support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and iterative releases.

    • Elevate the platform: Stay current on Power Platform capabilities; introduce improvements and emerging tech where it drives business value.

    • Align with the business: Collaborate closely with Business Systems Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, compliant solutions.

    • Uphold security/compliance: Embed controls for SOX/cyber requirements; ensure regulatory alignment across apps and data flows.

    • (If senior track is selected): Define strategic direction for enterprise software & data architecture and advise senior leadership on technology transformation.

     

    pay range begins at $35/hr and has flexibility based on professional experience

    Skills and Requirements

    • Power Platform depth: 5+ years architecting and building Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports; end to end solution ownership (requirements → deployment).

    • Data + integration: Strong SQL (data modeling/structuring), API integrations, and workflow automation.

    • Cloud & Microsoft stack: Hands on Microsoft Azure; integrations with SharePoint and Dynamics 365; familiarity with cloud services and microservices patterns.

    • Software engineering: Full stack background (e.g., JavaScript, C#, .NET, Java, Python); CI/CD and DevOps practices.

    • Delivery process: Experience with Agile/Scrum and the software development lifecycle; participates in/leans ceremonies.

    • Security & compliance: Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX) and cybersecurity best practices. • Certifications: AWS, Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce, PMP/Agile/SAFe, and/or DevOps credentials.

    • Advanced cloud & automation: AWS services (Glue, Lambda, SNS, SQS), cloud automation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipeline design.

    • Architecture patterns: Microservices architecture; API management; enterprise integration patterns; ERP integrations.

    • Domain extras: Experience with SCADA operations.

    • Governance: Power Platform ALM, solution governance, environment strategies, and CoE style best practices.
