    Job Description:

    Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures. Scrubs, gowns, and gloves for surgical procedures. Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures, displaying knowledge of procedure and patient positioning. Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed. Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants. Helps in draping sterile field. Passes instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedures. Maintains the highest standard of sterile technique during procedures. Prepares sterile dressings and cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization. Assists other team members with terminal cleaning of the room and prepping for the next patient. Handles surgical specimens with 100% accuracy. Recognizes and responds immediately to emergency situations appropriately. Performs other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $20.04 - $37.27
