    Job Description:

    + Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes patients during transport under the direction of the medical director and EMS protocols.

    + Provides direct medical care to patients during transport consistent with established EMS medical protocols and guidelines.

    + Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, Laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and/or cricothyrotomy as approved by EMS medical protocols.

    + Manages ventilators, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD) during transport.

    + Administers approved medications and narcotics consistent with EMS medical protocols. Infuses blood products consistent with EMS medical protocols.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    AssociateAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Commercial Drivers License (CDL) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Driver's License (DL) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Paramedic (PARA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement

    Pay Range:

    $21.56 - $40.09
