    + Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.

    + Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams. Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.

    + Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.

    + Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

    + Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor's, High School Grad or Equiv (Required)American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.-CERT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiation Technology - IEMA (MRT-IEMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Radiologic Technologist - License (RT-LIC) - Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $28.68 - $53.35
