    Job Description:

    Schedule: Mon - Fri (40 hours week) - schedule will alternate with another coordinator

    + Protects and assures patient privacy and confidentiality regarding surgery schedules, changes, and records.

    + Collaborates with Anesthesia and Schedulers to schedule surgery times consistent with the history of the procedure and surgeon.

    + Assures appropriate traffic control at the surgery control desk and works with Anesthesia Staff.

    + Ensures timely availability of needed supplies and equipment. Collects, communicates, and documents surgery data, disseminating information to relevant departments.

    + Communicates any concerns, add-ons, or delays on the surgery schedule to the Nurse Managers.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Associate's of Nursing (Required), Bachelor's of Nursing (Required)Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $32.48 - $60.42
