    Job Description:

    + Administers prescribed medication via inhalation and oxygen therapy according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

    + Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments accurately and timely.

    + Educates patients and family members about illnesses and clinical interventions.

    + Adheres to department standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensures patient documentation is accurate and complete.

    + Cleans and stocks respiratory equipment regularly.

    The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational SchoolBasic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Paramedic (PARA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Physical Therapist (PT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, State Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
