Unit Description:

+ Ready to join our OB family? Advent Health Winter Park is a premier destination for obstetrical care. With roots deep in the community, AH Winter Park has been providing individualized care for generations in a boutique style environment.

+ Our NICU is a 12 bed Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. AH Winter Park delivers approximately 3,500+ births per year (275 babies per month). The adjacent units are a 14 bed Labor and Delivery unit and a 34 bed Mother Infant Unit.

+ The multidisciplinary team is supported by Neonatologists/Pediatric Hospitalists and OB Hospitalists on Labor and Delivery 24/7.

+ Our NICU Network expands across multiple campuses and has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as the Best for Neonatology in Florida

+ Other highlights include the Professional Excellence Program and our Perinatal Nurse Internship Program.

The role you’ll contribute:

+ Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.

+ Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs.

+ Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications.

+ Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.

+ Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.
