Job Description:

+ Assists nurses in providing patient care and support during the second stage of labor.

+ Scrubs in as 1st or 2nd scrub for cesarean sections and assists in positioning, preparation, and draping procedures.

+ Provides bedside patient care including vital signs, blood sugars, newborn baths, feeding, and repositioning.

+ Sets up procedure/operating room with correct instruments and supplies for cesarean sections and circumcisions under the direction of the circulating nurse or OR scrub tech.

+ Identifies unsafe or defective instruments/equipment and implements appropriate actions.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Associate, High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement

Pay Range:

$15.31 - $24.49
