    Job Description:

    + Facilitates evaluations for potential VAD recipients by identifying candidates, reviewing medical records, and compiling tests.

    + Documents comprehensive clinical assessments, including diagnostic testing and functional status.

    + Participates in team meetings, patient review committees, interdisciplinary rounds, and discharge planning sessions.

    + Monitors post-VAD and heart function according to established protocols.

    + Provides clinical support to VAD patients, coordinating with hospital nursing staff, VAD RNs, and the perfusion team.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor's of Nursing (Required), Master's of NursingAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) - Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Certified Heart Failure Nurse (CHFN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $72,189.82 - $134,259.75
