Job Description:

Schedule: Full Time

Shift:  Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

+ Oversees the recovery process, including follow-up with patients who are non-admitted, discharged, or have revoked the Hospice Medicare Benefit, and ensures tracking and monitoring of changes for future hospice needs.

+ Maintains knowledge and communicates policies and procedures required to comply with federal, state, and local guidelines, as well as Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance reimbursement requirements.

+ Provides overall direction of operations related to admissions and referrals. Develops, revises, and implements schedules for admission nurses to ensure staff availability.

+ Reviews nursing documentation and charting to ensure it is timely, accurate, and complete, and communicates with the Health Information Management Department to update incomplete documentation.

+ Accompanies staff periodically to evaluate performance and knowledge, providing expertise and guidance to improve skills.

Pay Range:

$68,132.50 - $119,520.35
