    Job Description

    + Assists with terminal cleaning of the operating room, puts equipment, supplies, and instruments away as required, and assists in prepping the room for the next patient.

    + Prepares and sterilizes supplies and equipment used in surgical procedures, reviews and replaces supplies in the surgical case following a procedure, and discards expired medications per protocol.

    + Performs other duties as assigned. Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures.

    + Prepares solutions and medications, labels them properly, and reports amounts used for charting. Prepares back table and mayo stand, anticipating the needs of the surgeon using the surgeon’s preference card.

    + Provides supplies or equipment upon request for the surgeon, nurses, and/or anesthesiologist.

    The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Technician in Surgery - Certified (NTSC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $26.89 - $50.01
