Job Description:

+ Contributing to strategic goals by preparing and implementing action plans, identifying trends, resolving operational issues, and leading improvements in clinical care, patient experience, and team engagement.

+ Monitors and maintains unit compliance with regulatory standards, accrediting, and hospital policies, for patient services, environmental and personnel safety.

+ Ensures compliance overseeing electronic medical record documentation audits and facilitating timely corrections.

+ Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, performance evaluations, and payroll functions.

+ Demonstrating critical thinking skills, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance and positive employee relations Fostering a culture of psychological safety, where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to speak up, share concerns, and contribute meaningfully.

Associate's of Nursing (Required), Bachelor's of NursingAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, S.T.A.B.L.E.
