Job Description:

+ Plans, organizes, and implements activity programs tailored to meet the needs, capabilities, and interests of individual patients and groups.

+ Ensures compliance with all safety and infection control policies to prevent harm or injury to patients, employees, or self.

+ Manages department supplies, expenses, and inventory to ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.

+ Collaborates closely with the treatment team to assess and meet patient needs through the delivery of multi-disciplinary services.

+ Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy programs, making adjustments as necessary to enhance patient engagement and therapeutic outcomes. Develops and maintains good relationships with community agencies to support patient care and program development. Provides leadership and supervision to other Activity Therapists and assistants as directed. Serves as a resource and educator for patients, families, and staff regarding activity therapy and its benefits. Documents patient progress and program outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with organizational standards. Participates in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures. Engages in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in activity therapy.

Bachelor's (Required), Master'sCertified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$26.91 - $50.05
