    Position Overview:

    ANSER is seeking a Senior Analyst Team Lead to provide direct support within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Office of the Performance Improvement Officer and Director of Administration and Management (OPIO-DA&M), Washington Headquarters Service (WHS) Facilities Services Directorate (FSD). In this role you will work directly with the Acting Director, and Deputy Director FSD in the execution of projects that support the FSD mission to provide comprehensive lifecycle facility management and support the day-to-day working environment for the OSD, the Joint Staff, the Military Departments Congress and the White House in the National Capital Region and beyond. You will be the primary Point of Contact for technical direction from FSD leadership and function as ANSER’s Team Lead for contract support staff, supporting the FSD effort.

     

    This position requires on-site support at the Pentagon, Monday through Friday, during core business hours of 8am-4pm with potential shifts in work time based on operational requirements.

    Day to Day Responsibilities:

    + Review content and provide thorough analysis on a broad range of technical and professional written material includes letters, memoranda, reports, guidance documents, issuances, etc.

    + Demonstrate ability to identify root cause problems and recommend innovative solutions.

    + Synthesize large amounts of data from disparate stakeholders and adjudicate dissimilar information and content that align to a fix position identifying common threads and connections.

    + Use broad experience and technical knowledge to propose solutions to complex business problems.

    + Independently author draft decision and directive memoranda for senior leadership signature.

    + Demonstrate experience as an author, editor and analyst for official documents and written packages with the ability to logically present information and utilize and implement the established requirements in the DoD Guides and Manuals on written correspondence.

    + Demonstrate experience with managing adherence to a style guide for all branding and messaging and lead revision and updates in accordance with the DoD style guide.

    + Oversee contract support staff coordination, biannual reviews and performance assessments, time and attendance tracking, and mentorship of junior team members.

    + Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Active Top Secret clearance required at date of hire.

    + Master’s Degree.

    + 15+ years’ experience with related professional work efforts, within the OSD, Joint Staff and Senior Headquarters levels or equivalent.

    + Prior experience providing professional and analytic deliverables, insights in support of technical, managerial, procedural, project tasks

    + 7+ years’ experience providing services to senior general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within the DoD, other government agencies, or industry corporate equivalents, and knowledge of the structure and missions of the OSD and the Components.

    + Comprehensive familiarity with DoD and OSD policy, priorities, and strategy.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + TS/SCI clearance.

    + Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to translate highly technical information into plain language for effective communication with DoD and other USG staff in the performance of all duties, tasks and services.

    + Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.

    + Professionalism, tact, and experience working with senior DoD leadership.

    + Ability to produce quality work independently or in a group setting, provide solutions to customer issues, and solve problems quickly.

    + Ability to balance technical and contractual priorities as Team Lead.
