    PDS Tech is hiring Field Service Technicians in Clearwater, FL for our client Duke Energy.

Join PDS Tech as a **Field Service Technician** , where you’ll help Florida homeowners reduce their energy consumption through free, energy, saving upgrades provided in partnership with the local electric utility.

     

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in the field, interacting with customers, and being part of a mission?driven energy?efficiency program. Contracts may extend up to **24 months** , and you’ll receive full training to help homeowners save energy — and save money.

     

    What You’ll Do

    As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be the face of program, responsible for providing free in home energy efficient upgrades and guidance:

    + Install energy saving products such as LED bulbs, low flow aerators, showerheads, hot water tank insulation, pipe insulation, foam sealant, and more

    + Educate customers on simple ways to reduce energy usage and lower utility bills

    + Accurately record all installation measures and provide quality updates to supervisors

    + Identify and report safety issues

    + Safely operate company work trucks/box vans to and from customer homes

    + Participate in neighborhood kickoff events

    + Travel throughout Florida approximately **60% of the time** (vehicle provided when traveling)

    Travel & Benefits

    + **Pay Rate $17 - $18 an hour**

    + **Schedule 8 am - 5 pm**

    + **60% travel across Florida** (vehicle provided)

    + **Hotel arranged and paid for by company**

    + **Food reimbursement while traveling**

    + **Production, Safety, and QA bonuses** (not guaranteed)

    + **Pre employment MVR required**

    + **MVR rerun every 6 months for active contingent workers**

    What We’re Looking For

    A strong fit for this role may have experience in:

    + Sales or customer service

    + Cable/satellite installations

    + Alarm installation or sales

    + HVAC

    + Construction

    + Energy efficiency work

    We’re seeking candidates who:

    + Can work independently or with a partner

    + Have strong communication and customer service skills

    + Are detail oriented, reliable, and safety minded

    + Can meet deadlines and thrive in a fast paced environment

    + Are comfortable traveling overnight during the week

    Requirements

    + Valid **Driver’s License** (MVR required)

    + Ability to pass **criminal background check** and **drug screening**

    + High School Diploma **preferred but not required**

    + Spanish-speaking skills a plus (not required)

    **Pay Details:** $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
