As a Software Engineer III, you will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. About the team:

The team focuses on building robust platform Data Governance and Management capabilities across the enterprise. Collaborating closely with product management, project teams, and business stakeholders, members contribute to designing, developing, and delivering scalable technical solutions. The group emphasizes continuous improvement through iterative development, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality outcomes. Engineers apply strong technical skills in areas such as API design, platform development, and automation, supporting seamless integration and operational excellence. The team fosters a disciplined, results-driven environment dedicated to meeting business needs while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices.

What you'll do:

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define high-level design and technical solutions for projects.

+ Develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality code following coding standards.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve production and business issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

+ Manage project requirements, translate them into technical deliverables, and ensure timely delivery.

+ Support continuous integration and deployment processes by automating routine tasks and monitoring application performance.

+ Provide guidance and mentorship to small engineering teams, including offshore associates.

+ Document technical solutions and maintain traceability between requirements, design, and testing.

What you'll bring:

+ Proven experience in software design, development, and delivery using object-oriented programming and Java.

+ Strong technical acumen with expertise in API design, platform development, and component services.

+ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex production issues through root cause analysis and effective resolution.

+ Proficiency in iterative and incremental development methodologies, including Agile practices.

+ Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing.

+ Ability to create clear, documentation-based code adhering to coding standards and security policies.

+ Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

+ Experience mentoring and guiding small engineering teams to achieve project goals.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30094: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Sunnyvale, California US-08479: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
