Massage Therapist, Part Time, Chambers Center…

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Performs massages according to policy and procedure.
2. Create SOAP notes in MindBody Software after each massage.
3. Has knowledge of other wellness services at the Chambers Center.
4. May examine client and recommend other services and products to
5. complement their chief complaint and goals.
6. Attend all team meetings.
7. Maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in treatment room throughout shift.
8. Other duties as assigned.
+ Licensed Massage Therapists in the state of New Jersey.
+ Nationally Certified or Board Certified Massage and Body work Therapisthaving completed the National Certification Exam.
+ Graduate of an accredited by the Commission on Massage TherapyAccreditation massage therapy program with a minimum of 500 hours oftraining in massage therapy.
+ Additional certifications in 1 or more of the following areas are required: SportsMassage, Oncology Massage, and Lymphatic Massage.
+ Minimum of 1-year experience in a medical setting is a plus.
+ Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work withminimal supervision.
+ Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
+ Excellent communications skills
+ Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.
+ Mindbody Software knowledge a plus
+ Ability to read and interpret documents.
+ Ability to speak effectively.
+ Ability to work independently.
