Position Summary: *Tax Accountant II (Exempt)* Maintains tax records and prepares tax returns, related schedules, and related reports. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position works under general supervision while overseeing certain responsibilities. Prepares work papers for various types of local, state and federal tax returns. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Tax area. Candidate must demonstrate ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions will require exercising some level of independent judgment. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
