    The Opportunity:

    CACI’s Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking a Safety & QC Specialist in support of the Army Comprehensive Modernization program. From supporting site surveys to implementing innovative designs, you’ll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations. This role requires a foundational understanding of quality engineering principles, safety standards, and quality control practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality assurance, testing, and compliance with safety regulations

    Responsibilities:

    + Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure products meet quality standards.

    + Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product functionality.

    + Collaborate with development and production teams to resolve identified issues and improve product quality.

    + Ensure personnel and products comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.

    + Conduct safety assessments and audits to identify potential risks and ensure compliance.

    + Develop and maintain safety documentation and reports.

    + Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.

    + Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.

    + Provide training and guidance on quality assurance practices.

    + Develop and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results.

    + Prepare regular reports on product quality, safety compliance, and testing activities.

    + Identify opportunities for process improvement within quality and safety workflows.

    + Stay updated on the latest quality engineering and safety technologies and trends.

    + Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, secure buy-in, and ensure products align with business objectives.

    + Facilitate communication between quality assurance teams, project managers, and other relevant parties.

    + Communicates clearly and succinctly, both written and orally, and presents products and ideas in a business-like manner.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance

    + Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.

    + Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering, testing, and safety compliance.

    + Commensurate: High School diploma or associate degree plus a minimum of 7 years of experience

    + Certifications:

    + Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent.

    + Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent.

    + Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    _Desired:_

    + Active Secret security clearance

    + Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

    + Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician) and safety standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001)

    + Proven track record of successfully ensuring product quality and safety compliance.

    + Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements related to products.

    **Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $60,100 - $123,200
