Software Engineer Location: Orlando, FL Job ID: #72013 Pay Range: $85-125 ph (W2) Duration: 12 mos Job Description Software Tools: • Terrain Generation Tool: Terra Vista (preferred to have worked with versions 6.0 & 22.0 but not required) • Modeling Tool: Creator (OpenFlight) • GIS Tools: qGIS, Global Mapper, or ArcGIS • Texture Tools: GIMP, Photoshop Skills: • Hands on experience with Terra Vista. o Including setting up projects and buildings databases. o Understand workflows: Importing data, editing vectors/3D models, setting LODs, running buildings) o CDB creation with Terra Vista, CDB (Critical Skillset) • CDB Specs & Structure Knowledge o Solid grasp of Common Database specifications ( structures, layers, folder layout, versioning, etc) o Experience producing CDB outputs from source GIS/imagery/elevations data o Source data attribution and preparation for CDB creation • Geospatial Data Preparation & Management. o Work with imagery, elevation, and vector data. o Use tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, GIMP & Photoshop • Data Conversion & Interop-ability o Importing heterogeneous source formats and resolving projection/LOD mismatches o Exporting or integrating into other standard and formats (e.g. Open Flight) Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
