Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) is looking to hire an In-House Mortgage Loan Originator to join our Retail Lending Team. This position will work with BSNB's customers to provide outstanding customer service in one of the most significant purchases of their lives.

     

    A DAY IN THE LIFE

     

    On a daily basis, you will work closely with your Retail Branch and other colleagues to follow-up on customer referrals for the purchase of a home or home equity loan. You will meet with customers regarding their loan applications, take loan applications, and recommend the appropriate lending product. This position will also ensure the accurate and complete submission of loan application packages for underwriting. Attention to detail and follow through is a must in this position to enhance the customer experience and maximize the customer relationship.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The ideal candidate will have experience with application origination of mortgage, home equity, or consumer loans. Knowledge of conventional secondary market guidelines preferred. Knowledge and understanding of TRID and working experience with the integrated Loan Estimate Disclosure(LE) strongly preferred. Experience with Encompass LOS is a plus. A.S degree in Business or related field preferred. Successful candidates will have strong customer service, sales, and relationship building skills. Well-developed communication skills are a must.
