Description:
The CT Technologist works closely with the Department Director and Radiologists to perform CT examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy of St. Mary’s to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care. Maintains technical competency through continued education. Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members. Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
Position Purpose:
CT Tech to work in the Radiology Department PRN at St Mary’s Hospital, Athens, GA
What you will do:
+ Perform diagnostic exams consistent with standard department imaging protocols.
+ Coordinate inpatient and outpatient workflow and maintains department standards for productivity.
What you will need:
+ **Licensure/Certification/Registration** : ARRT registered ( R)- prefer CT registry
+ **Education:** Graduate of approved Radiology Program
+ **Experience:** Experience necessary to demonstrate competence
+ **Special Qualifications:** Working knowledge of the department and modality consistent with education level
