Responsibilities

The Utilization Review Coordinator is responsible for the assisting with the implementation and ongoing management of the utilization review program for the employee medical benefit program for Prime Healthcare. This position will provide assistance in the direction and utilization of available resources to provide quality, cost effective care using selected benefits and alternative services best suited for the members while ensuring optimal outcomes. This position will work closely with the Prime Healthcare Provider Network and with each of the hospital’s Medical Directors.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

1. High School graduate2. Computer skills, Microsoft Office, proficiency in a variety of software programs3. Typing 40wpm4. Medical Terminology preferred5. Proficient in word processing, spread sheets and database6. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with exceptional professional work ethics.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $26.92. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
