Private Duty Aide Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Field-Based/One-On-One Care/Full-Time or Part-Time Day Availability

Elara Caring is seeking a dedicated **Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)** to join our Private Duty team. In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one care that truly matters, helping patients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home.

What We’re Looking For

+ Active CNA license in the state of application

+ Compassionate, positive attitude

+ Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

+ Strong communication skills

+ Reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse

+ Follow individualized care plans and report changes in patient condition

+ Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation

+ Take and record vital signs as required

+ Perform safe transfers using assistive devices and mechanical lifts

+ Support patients in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy home environment

+ Encourage mobility and prescribed exercise programs

+ Respond appropriately to emergency situations

+ Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines

+ Communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, and care team members

+ Adhere to all safety, infection control, and organizational policies

+ Attend required training and in-service programs
