Our client, a leading organization in the government and technology sector, is seeking a DCC_Cloud Platform Architect AWS to join their team. As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will be part of the Cloud Infrastructure Support team supporting cloud adoption, application design, and cloud management initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Cloud Platform Architect - AWS

**Location:** Arlington, Virginia

Pay Range: Market (Temp to Perm)

What's the Job?

+ Oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud platform environments, including public, private, and hybrid clouds.

+ Develop and implement cloud adoption strategies and application design frameworks.

+ Manage cloud infrastructure, including monitoring, security, and optimization.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless cloud integration and performance.

+ Provide consultative support to enhance cloud solutions and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

What's Needed?

+ Experience with AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS), Red Hat Ansible, and AWS Cloud Computing fundamentals.

+ Knowledge of application architecture and deployment in cloud environments.

+ Strong understanding of cloud adoption plans and cloud management tools.

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

+ Ability to work on-site with flexibility for travel up to 25%.
