    Job Description

    Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an on-callGolf Starter/Marshallfor the beautiful Barton Creek Country Club at the Canyons Golf Course! If you love hospitality, creating amazing customer experiences, and the structure and benefits that come from working with a hotel company then you will love working with Omni!

    Responsibilities

    + To perform the duties of greeting, starting, club cleaning, picking range balls from the practice facility, and transferring clubs to various locations

    + Participate in daily communication stand-up meetings

    + Assist the coordination of outside services for golf tournaments

    + Ensure consistent presentation according to Omni Hotels standards

    + Assist with the protection of all assets including security of the guest's golf clubs and rental clubs

    + Responsible for providing continuous detailing and maintenance to the golf course equipment and facility (e.g. golf carts, workstation, practice range, emptying trash receptacles, etc...)

    Qualifications

    + Working knowledge of the game is strongly preferred.

    + Must have high standards for guest service and maintain a welcoming demeanor.

    + Must be able to lift 60 pounds of golf clubs/buckets of practice balls.

    + Must be able to operate a golf cart.

    + May be subjected to adverse conditions - rain, wind, sun, extreme heat and cold.

    + Must be able to operate golf cart, range picker, GPS and hand radio.

    + Must be 18 years of age or older.

    + Must possess a valid driver license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report, defined as no more than 1 moving violation in the most recent 2 years.

    + Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
