    As a **Security Officer - Armed** in **Fort Worth, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment for all personnel. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding the values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. This role requires carrying a firearm as part of your responsibilities.

    What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activities.

    + Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activities or hazards to the appropriate personnel.

    + Control access to restricted areas and verify identification as required for the location.

    + Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other security-related equipment in accordance with company and client policies.

    + Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the client.

    + Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during critical incidents or emergencies.

    + Participate in ongoing training to remain current on security-related procedures, protocols, and equipment usage.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.

    + An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.

    + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
