Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst to provide administrative and analytical support within our Merchandising area. This role combines billing administration, data analysis, and stakeholder management to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.
This role requires someone who can balance financial accuracy with relationship management, combining analytical skills with strong interpersonal abilities. The position involves regular interaction with both internal teams and external supplier partners.
Key job responsibilities
The role focuses on managing a merchandising program that calculates and bills qualifying suppliers, including:
• Financial Operations: Monthly calculations, billing distribution, backup file review, and payment reconciliation
• Supplier Management: Quarterly reviews of qualifying suppliers/distributors, payment processing, refunds, and contract tracking
• Collections: Monthly collections process for direct supplier invoices
• Stakeholder Relations: Serving as the WFM representative to internal and external partners, fielding supplier questions
Skills:
Technical Skills:
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Alteryx experience is a plus)
• Ability to learn new applications and processes quickly
Professional Competencies:
• Strong communication and presentation abilities (one-on-one and group settings)
• Acute attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Professional decorum with business partners and suppliers
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Tableau
- Experience using very large datasets
- Retail experience, preferably food industry
- Alteryx knowledge

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
