Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a contract Second Shift Packaging Technician 2 for our Pharmaceutical partner in Ridgefield, NJ.
The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $25 and $30. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description: Syringe/Vial Inspection/Packaging Level LL-2
Second Shift 1:00 pm- 9:30 pm
Prefilled Syringe (PFS) Inspection/Packaging Area is responsible for the staging, reconciliation, inspection and packing of prefilled syringe products produced on site. This includes hyaluronic acid (HA) based medical device products as well as pharmaceutical based products. In support of our main functions, additional responsibilities include maintaining compliance with all applicable Regulatory requirements relative to FDA, cGMP Regulations, Companys SOPs and Safety Regulations, accurate documentation on batch production records and logs, and cleaning and maintain production areas.
Responsibilities:
• Perform manual inspection of pre-filled syringes.
• Maintains batch record documentation and logs as required by corporation and regulatory agencies.
• Timely report at workstations.
• Timely and accurate perform batch record entries.
• Checking and confirming accuracy of staged components.
• Perform visual inspection of prefilled syringes according to established standards.
• Identify any inspection failures and report them immediately.
• Conduct reconciliation of materials/syringes used during inspection and packaging operations.
• Support packaging activities of inspected syringes per production schedule.
• Must be able to work with a fast-paced packaging line with semi-automated equipment.
• Perform daily safety walkthroughs and report results to management.
• Use of computers for data entry and reporting purposes and to obtain training.
• Achieve required quality, safety, and efficiency targets.
• Perform routine daily and monthly cleaning in production area.
• Must be able to work overtime hours as required, based on business needs.
• Troubleshooting Equipment and assist team-mates and mechanics during changeovers.
• Must be able to support the line leader in daily scheduled activities.
• Assist with any Non-Conformances.
• Ensure all related assigned training is completed and up to date.
• Maintain good communication with team members on daily activities, performance, training, and annual goals.
Skills
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team-based and fast-peace environment.
• Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices - 3 years.
• Knowledge of Production Inspection Process - 3 years.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Packaging Process - 3 years.
• Ability to quickly learn new processes.
• Good vision (must be correctable to 20/20)
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must show initiative.
• Time Management.
• Able to support a flexible schedule and have a willingness to work overtime.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull various amounts 50 lbs.
• Proficient in performing basic math.
• Computer knowledge.
Basic Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-4 years of experience required for Level III
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
**Pay Details:** $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
