Responsibilities for Material Handling Operator Include but are not limited to:
• Minimum of 3 years of forklift experience (Required), Pallet Jack.
• Must have a current Forklift Certification
• Maintain transfer and production operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
• Verifies all loading and unloading of material for assurance.
• Assists Inventory Control for verification of counts and material
• Complete loading and unloading documentation when required.
• The employee is responsible for the racking of material per instruction.
• Communicating to Supervisor any problems with material, racks, or trucks.
• Assisting at processing inbound and outbound racks when needed.
• Assemble customer shipments from OSS and place castings in crates or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
• Prepare product for shipping.
• Ensures warehouse is maintained in a clean, orderly, and visually attractive manner in compliance with 5s policy.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated
• Must be able to follow all forklift safety regulations including but not limited to always wearing your seatbelt.
• Also, at times of necessity, a forklift drive will have the same duties as a General Labor.
• Schedules and coordinates the truck activities.
• Drives the Spring’s truck to destinations and picks up donated item.
• Unloads articles at warehouse location or a Spring facility as directed by management.
• Maintains truck log by completing the Inspection form weekly.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water prior to leaving facility.
• Advise supervisor if servicing is required.
• May perform Emergency Roadside repairs.
• The ability and desire to work safely
• The ability to work overtime when required
• Must be able to work weekends when required.
• Certification or Licensing Requirements
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with at least two years driving and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
• Language:
• English
• Spanish (a plus)
Candidates for Material Handling Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered:
• Standing for an extended amount of time; including but not limited to 6–8-hour time periods.
• Requires up to 50 lbs. to be lifted.
• Walking, standing, using hands, stooping/kneeling, reaching, and push/pulling are required in the course of job duties each day.
• Noise level is high.
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $20.68 per hour
