    Logistics Specialist

    Shift Details:

    Monday through Saturday, **8:00 AM – 4:30 PM**

    One day off during the week will be assigned prior to the start date. (Currently anticipated to be Friday, but subject to confirmation.)

    Position Overview:

    As a **Logistics Specialist** , you will provide day-to-day logistics support including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination. This role plays a critical part in ensuring on-time deliveries, accurate load tracking, and clear communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams.

    Manager Preference:

    Prior experience with **routing** , **building supplies** , or **final-mile delivery** is preferred but **not required** for consideration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system

    + Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure loads arrive on time and in good condition

    + Communicate load status updates to account managers, receivers, and customers, including issues and resolution steps

    + Take check calls from drivers and confirm delivery timelines

    + Validate load data prior to marking loads as delivered for accounting purposes

    + Investigate overages, shortages, and damages and complete required documentation

    + Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments; accept or decline loads per account manager direction

    + Provide clear routing directions and delivery instructions to drivers

    Qualifications – Required:

    + Minimum **1 year of logistics experience**

    + General knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Experience writing routine reports and correspondence

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to carry out written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions

    **Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour
