Job Title: Hilo Driver** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hilo Driver to join our team. The role involves operating sit-down, electric battery-powered hilos to transport raw materials from shipping docks to production lines and finished products back for shipment.

Responsibilities

+ Drive sit-down, electric battery hilos from shipping docks to production lines with raw materials.

+ Transport finished products from production lines back to shipping docks and prepare them for shipment.

+ Replace batteries in hilos and set them in charging stations.

Essential Skills

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Minimum of 3 years of hilo driving experience in a manufacturing setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with forklifts and electric hilos.

+ Familiarity with production environments.

Work Environment

Work in a $62 million brand new facility in Auburn Hills, featuring a temperature-controlled and clean environment equipped with new equipment throughout. The role includes wearing lab coats, boots, and safety glasses for protection. Shifts are structured as follows: Day Shift (6 AM to 6 PM) and Night Shift (6 PM to 6 AM) on a 4-days-on, 3-days-off / 3-days-on, 4-days-off rotation. Orientation takes place on the 1st shift during the first week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.
