    Job Title: A&P Mechanic** **Job Description

     

    Join our dynamic team as an A&P Mechanic, where you'll be an integral part of our operations, focusing on disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and assembly of turbine engines in our state-of-the-art facilities.

    Responsibilities

    + Disassemble, clean, inspect, and assemble turbine engines in compliance with company standards.

    + Organize and manage daily priorities, scheduling, and shop output, reporting findings to the Site Manager.

    + Ensure the use of proper equipment and safety practices.

    + Coordinate daily maintenance schedules and special requirements with team members.

    + Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring safety instructions are followed.

    + Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Site Manager.

    + Effectively use computers and develop proficiency in Microsoft applications.

    + Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    + Communicate progress updates and address issues with team members and supervisors.

    + Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment.

    + Operate hand tools, machining lathe, power tools, and measuring instruments.

    + Read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.

    + Lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.

    + Maintain manual dexterity required for technician tasks.

    + Provide personal hand tools; special tooling will be supplied by the company.

    Essential Skills

    + A&P License

    + Experience with aircraft engine repair and maintenance, particularly PT6 engines

    + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics

    + Proficiency in using hand tools, machining lathes, and measuring instruments

    + Basic personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Pratt Whitney engine experience is a plus

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + At least 1 year of aviation-related experience and/or training

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Ability to follow instructions accurately

    + Good team collaboration skills

    + Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime

    + Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Butler, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
