Job Title: CNC Machinist 1st Shift and 2nd Shift openings - Hiring ASAP

Responsibilities

+ Read blueprints and follow specific instructions and procedures.

+ Organize, prioritize, and plan daily work assignments in a dynamic environment.

+ Utilize shop math for various applications.

+ Proficiently use measuring equipment such as height gauges, micrometers, and calipers.

+ Understand metal-cutting applications and machine practices.

+ Handle piece parts ranging in weight from 1 lb. to 25 lbs.

+ Deburr and clean parts using various hand and power tools such as a belt sander or drill press.

+ Inspect parts visually and using measurement tools.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of CNC machining experience with mills or lathes.

+ 1+ year of CNC setup experience.

+ Experience with mill and/or lathe machinery.

+ Blueprint reading experience.

+ Proficiency with precision measuring tools: micrometers and calipers.

Work Environment

Work in a brand-new facility located in Palatine. Enjoy a climate-controlled environment designed to enhance comfort and efficiency. The position offers a 1st Shift schedule from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm with the possibility of 5 - 10 hours of overtime, including some Saturdays, which will be communicated in advance but are not mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palatine, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
