Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Entry Level)
Job Description
The position involves supporting the design and manufacturing of bioprocessing equipment with a focus on existing electrical components, electrical subsystems, and product testing. The role requires expertise in cabinet design and improvement, creating electrical schematics and layouts, and supporting manufacturing and troubleshooting efforts.
Responsibilities
+ Design and modify electrical and mechanical cabinets according to customer requirements and company standards.
+ Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD (AutoCAD) software.
+ Develop and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical components and panels.
+ Conduct necessary electrical calculations and perform simulations to optimize designs.
+ Research and select appropriate electrical components and materials to ensure optimal system performance and compliance.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and production engineers, to ensure seamless integration and successful project execution.
+ Provide technical support to the production team during assembly and to the service team during installation and troubleshooting.
+ Participate in design reviews, testing, and evaluation of prototypes to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
+ Generate and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and assembly drawings.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or a combination of related experience and any technical certification.
+ Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) for electrical design.
+ Understanding of electrical principles and PLCs-based control systems.
+ Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., UL, NEC).
+ Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with or understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation is a plus.
+ Entry-level position
+ Experience with SolidWorks is desirable.
Work Environment
The position is contingent in the United States, requiring work from Sunday to Saturday. The role primarily involves drafting schematics for electrical cabinets using AutoCAD or SolidWorks. The candidate should be prepared to work closely with various engineering teams in a collaborative environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
