Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Electrical Controls Engineer with a strong expereince in Industrial Automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining PLC applications and designing HMI interfaces. You will ensure control panels meet industrial standards and perform onsite troubleshooting while mentoring technicians. This role offers an exciting opportunity for advancement within a family-owned company.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain PLC applications with a focus on Automation Direct.

+ Design and create HMI interfaces using programming tools like PanelView and C-more.

+ Design and debug control panels in accordance with NFPA 79 and UL 508 standards.

+ Perform onsite troubleshooting and system optimization.

+ Mentor technicians in code troubleshooting.

+ Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ 4+ years of experience in Electrical Design, PLC Programming, Implementation, and Testing.

+ 2+ years of experience in Industrial Automation and Electrical Controls Design.

+ Proficient in PLC programming, electrical engineering, and control panel design.

+ Experience with ISO 9001 procedures.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, RSLogix, Allen Bradley PLC, and Siemens NX.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with RA Studio 5000 and Factory Talk View Studio.

+ Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Siemens PLC.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Pico Rivera, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Pico Rivera,CA.
