    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field, with a preference for candidates who have 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree. Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred. A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required, and an interim or active secret clearance at the time of hire is preferred.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with a cross-functional team to research, design, develop, and test software and tools.

    + Develop new work products or enhance existing applications, systems, or embedded products.

    + Code, test, and document software solutions to advance technology solutions.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.

    + 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.

    + Department of Defense Secret security clearance.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Proficiency in C++ is most important.

    + Experience with Java, Python, and programming in general.

    + Kubernetes experience.

    + Microservice development and Spring Boot knowledge.

    + Experience with Ansible and Helm.

    + Proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana.

    Work Environment

    This position is located on-site in Manassas with some work-from-home flexibility. Work hours are from 10 AM to 3 PM on-site, with the option to work from home before or after those hours. A 9/80 work schedule is available if desired.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manassas, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
