    Job Title: Product Support Specialist

    Job Description

    As a Product Support Specialist, you will provide technical support and perform sales and applications engineering. You will be responsible for answering technical inquiries from engineers and designers globally. This role supports the implementation of next-generation interconnect solutions, as well as an extensive range of existing product lines. A vital part of your role will be learning the technical requirements of high-reliability interconnection systems, including military standard-type cylindrical and rectangular connectors, connector accessories, conduit assemblies, cable assemblies, and wire harnesses.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide technical support to customers and address their interconnection challenges.

    + Assist in setting up new build-to-order production packages.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and customer proposals.

    + Collaborate with design and other engineering departments to respond to customer questions.

    + Support the implementation of interconnect solutions.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, technology management, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical degree.

    + Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read blueprints or schematics.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    + Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and vendors.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with CadKey or AutoCad (2D) or any popular 3D CAD software such as Inventor, PRO/E, Solid Works, or CATIA is a plus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
