Job Title: Senior Engineering Manager - Extrusion

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Extrusion Vertical Integration Program. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, cost-efficiency, and production rates of our tubing operations. The successful candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert in plastic processing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and develop strategies to enhance tubing extrusion and plastics processing.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and implement strategies to enhance tubing extrusion and plastics processing.

+ Support the qualification of external suppliers for tubing extrusion, film production, and plastic compounding.

+ Oversee engineering standards for tubing extrusion, film production, and plastic compounding.

+ Provide technical leadership to extrusion process engineers during process development phases.

+ Manage and provide leadership for the functional group’s development, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes.

+ Participate in the short and long-term planning process to establish technical objectives for a business unit project or functional engineering group.

+ Utilize technical and managerial expertise to evaluate proposed solutions, adaptations, and modifications to projects and products used globally.

+ Identify project and product opportunities and initiate prioritization and implementation.

+ Complete annual department budgeting and be accountable for long-range planning.

+ Implement and understand FDA or global regulatory requirements as necessary.

+ Ensure compliance with company Quality System regulations and safe working practices.

Essential Skills

+ Expertise in product development processes and plastic extrusion.

+ Experience in process development and engineering management.

+ Strong management skills with 5+ years of leadership experience, potentially in a lead role.

+ Understanding of medical or other types of plastic applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in medical industry plastics is advantageous but not required.

Work Environment

This role requires onsite presence in CO for three days a week. The work involves interacting with multiple functions across the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to a collaborative and innovative environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
