    Job Title: Interior Designer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a passionate and skilled Interior Designer to join our dynamic project design team. You will work closely with both the project design team and client team throughout each phase of the project delivery process. Your role will encompass all aspects and phases of the interior design process, including programming, space analysis, planning, concepts, material and furniture selection, working drawings, specifications, and construction document packages.

    Responsibilities

    + Contribute to all aspects and phases of the interior design process.

    + Attend and lead project meetings with clients.

    + Collaborate with a wide range of project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design team consultants.

    + Maintain and organize interior design project files.

    + Maintain and update office interior library by working with product representatives.

    + Travel to and from project and client meetings as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong technical skills in interior design.

    + 3-5+ years’ experience in the interior design industry with relevant built work experience.

    + Proficiency in Revit.

    + Solid MS Office abilities.

    + Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.

    + Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor design detailing and documentation skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in healthcare design projects is a plus.

    + Proficiency in SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe software.

    Work Environment

    Our firm consists of 55-60 professionals, with project teams varying from 2-5 or 8+ members, depending on project size and scope. This position is based out of our Rockville, Maryland office location, ideal for local candidates. After six months of employment, the role will be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working three days per week in the office, at a client site, or at off-site locations for company-sponsored events. We take pride in our brand new office space in Rockville, a Class A space with free parking.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
